Roshar — Stormlight
20-hour day, 50-minute hours, 500-day year (anchored)
Sanderson’s Vorin calendar is built on tens: 10 months of 10 weeks of 5 days (500 days a year). A Rosharan day is 20 hours of 50 minutes, so its clock and calendar keep their own pace against ours — a Rosharan year runs out in about 347 of our days, and gains on ours steadily. No canon ties Roshar to our calendar, so the count is anchored so that 1 January 1970 begins 1114, which places 1173 — the year The Way of Kings opens — in 2026.
