Caesar's calendar · now 13 days behind

Julius Caesar’s reform of 46 BCE, with a leap year every fourth year — slightly too many, so it drifted against the seasons. The Gregorian replaced it in 1582; it now trails by 13 days and still fixes Orthodox Christmas.
