Ge'ez calendar · ~7–8 years behind
Descended from the Coptic/Alexandrian calendar: 12 months of 30 days plus a short 13th month of 5-6 days. It runs 7-8 years behind the Gregorian and rings in its New Year, Enkutatash, in September. Its years are written AM, for the Amete Mihret — the Year of Mercy — counted from the Incarnation.
